South Bruce OPP report impaired driver; and stunt-driver

DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER OFFICER SPOTS AGGRESSIVE DRIVING

(MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - June 4, at 3:08 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on Patrol in the Municipality of South Bruce, observed a driver aggressively operating a motor vehicle. The driver was stopped on Highway 9.

As a result of the traffic stop, officers believed that the driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests.

Devon HUSK, 25, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with:
 

• Speeding
• Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
• Impaired operation of a motor vehicle - Over-80

STUNT-DRIVING CHARGE LAID IN BROCKTON
 
(BROCKTON, ON) - June 4, 2024, at 8:38 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 19 in the Municipality of Brockton, noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle's speed was displayed on radar at 136 km/h in a posted 70 km/h zone.

A 53-year-old resident of Toronto was charged with Stunt-Driving.

This charge includes an immediate 30-day driver's licence suspension and an immediate 14-day vehicle impoundment.
