It was sunny and hot as a huge crowd gathered for the Bruce Power Fun Fest held Saturday at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
The event featured a wonderful variety of activities, inside and out, including the Touch-a-Truck display and Reptilla Mobile trailer in the parking lot; Dan, the Music Man and face-painting in Kincardine Hall; and the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team robot demonstration and Canine Circus on the arena floor.

Also available, were Burke’s Deli corn dogs, lots of Bruce Power swag, and a free swim at the Davidson Centre pool.
The Fun Fest was a great success, with young and old, alike, delighting at the antics of the animals and their handlers, as well as the juggler, at the dog show; many taking a turn at driving the Kinetic Knights robot; and children lining up to have their faces painted, and listening to some great musical entertainment.

People also enjoyed checking out the big equipment, including dump trucks, a fire engine, and the Bruce Power Nuclear Response Team vehicle which was a great crowd-pleaser.
The entire event was free, as Bruce Power's way of thanking the community for its support of the Bruce Nuclear generating station.
The event ended with a magnificent fireworks display at the Kincardine Harbour at dusk. To see the finale of the fireworks, click here.
