Miller Insurance of Kincardine has donated $10,000 to the Ripley Medical Centre and YMCA Child-care Centre, part of the company's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves as part of its 125th-anniversary celebrations.
Huron-Kinloss council and staff appreciate this generous donation and will use it to to purchase three new exam tables for the Ripley Medical Centre, states a press release, issued Thursday.
“These tables are essential for providing high-quality health-care services to our residents,” states the release. “The current exam tables are more than 30 years old and in dire need of replacement. The new tables will ensure that the medical centre can offer modern, efficient, and comfortable care to all patients.
Mayor Don Murray expressed his heartfelt thanks to Miller Insurance.
"A beautifully-renovated medical centre needs new equipment to match it,” he said. “This donation not only helps us upgrade our facilities but also demonstrates Miller Insurance's thoughtful commitment to supporting our community. The positive impact of this contribution will be felt by everyone who relies on our medical services.”
