South Bruce OPP report two impaired drivers arrested
DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER OFFICER SPOTS SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE
(LUCKNOW, ON) - Sept. 4, at 11:30 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol in the Township of Huron-Kinloss, observed a suspicious vehicle on Campbell Street in Lucknow.
As a result of the traffic stop, officers believed that the driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests.
Kaiden SHEARS, 22, of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie was charged with:
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle - Over-80
DRIVER ARRESTED FOR IMPAIRED AFTER WALKERTON COLLISION
(WALKERTON, ON) - Aug. 28, at 10:14 p.m., the South Bruce OPP, Brockton Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Durham Street in Walkerton.
As a result of the investigation, officers believed that the driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Breath Technician for breath tests.
Gregory SIMPSON, 27, of Mildmay was charged with:
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle - Over-80
- Dangerous Operation
