Huron-Bruce Kidney Walk raises $19,000
The fourth annual Huron-Bruce Kidney Walk has raised $19,000 in support of the Kidney Foundation..
Held Sunday morning at Station Beach, Kincardine, and in Goderich, the event drew a solid crowd.
The majority of the money was raised through The Crew of Kincardine and Ripley.
Special appreciation to the following event sponsors: UniversalCare ($2,500), UBC Local 2222 ($1,000), Brussels Lions Club ($1,000), Kincardine Legion ($500), Compass Minerals ($500) and Calhoun Structures ($250).
The on-line auction was another great success, raising $7,000.
