To the Editor:
The Christmas Knights food and toy drive is a huge community involvement charity event, spearheaded by Kincardine District Secondary School students. This year marks the 19th anniversary of the student-run program.
Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to Noon, about 120 students will go door-to-door, collecting non-perishable food items and new toys for the Kincardine Community Services Association Christmas Hamper program. This event has helped families in the Kincardine area for many years and continues to be an opportunity to show the true holiday spirit.
Any donations not used in the Christmas Hampers, will be given to local programs and the Kincardine Food Bank.
If you will not be home Saturday morning, but would like to donate, please put your items in a bag or box, marked KDSS Christmas Knights, and leave it on your doorstep and the students will pick it up.
Sincerely,
KDSS Christmas Knights Committee
