Tim Crawford won $1,429 in the Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 15 which contained the Three of Diamonds. Next week’s draw should see the progressive jackpot at almost $20,000!

At the Saturday Meat Draw, it was Rod Shanks who seemed to be the lucky one. He not only won in the meat draw, but he also took home $181 in the 50/50 draw. Congratulations, Rod!

Progressive Euchre began Thursday (Oct. 10) at the Legion. It runs from 10 a.m. to Noon every Thursday in the Club Room. Everyone is welcome! The cost is $2 each Thursday, which goes toward the prizes. If you have any questions, contact Randy McLeod at rmcleod@bmts.com.

The Legion’s Fall Dinner and Dance was a big hit with everyone enjoying a nice turkey dinner and some dancing afterwards. At one point, almost all the people were on the dance floor, enjoying the music provided by Midnight Special Dance Express.

Saturday, Oct. 12, is An Evening with Psychic Kelly Elson and there are just a handful of tickets left. Tickets are also on sale for the Grey Matter Oktoberfest, Friday, Oct. 25.

Looking ahead to next month, the Legion’s annual Lulu’s Band Hootenanny, Nov. 30, is nearly sold out, so you will need to act fast if you wish to attend. Tickets for the New Year’s Eve event at the Legion, with the Adam Cousins Band, will go on sale after Remembrance Day.
