South Bruce OPP report serious collision; and careless driving

POLICE INVESTIGATING SERIOUS COLLISION

(CHESLEY, ON) - Oct. 10, at 4:43 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle collision on 1st Avenue North between 4th Street and 5th Street Northwest in Chesley.

Officers responded to the scene to find a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle had collided.

Two occupants of the motorcycle were transported to a local hospital by paramedic services. One occupant was later transported by air ambulance to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

1st Avenue was closed, from 4th Street to 5th Street Northwest, but has since been re-opened.

The investigation continues.

MOTORIST CHARGED WITH CARELESS DRIVING

(KINCARDINE, ON) - Oct. 9, at 5:14 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 21 at Bruce County Road 20 in the Municipality of Kincardine.

Officers responded to the scene to find two passenger vehicles blocking the intersection.

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old driver of Owen Sound was charged with Careless Driving.
