South Bruce OPP report thief arrested; and impaired drivers nabbed

ARREST MADE AFTER BREAK-AND-ENTER IN KINCARDINE

(KINCARDINE, ON) - Nov. 6, at 1:49 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-and-enter at a farm property along Highway 9, in the Municipality of Kincardine.

As a result of the investigation, the South Bruce OPP arrested and charged one individual.

Michael WHITEHEAD, 30, of Kincardine was charged with:
 

• Break and Enter, CC 348(1)(a)
• Mischief Under $5,000, CC 430(4)
• Fail to comply with probation, CC 733.1(1)

POLICE ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - Nov. 11, at 11:22 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a suspicious vehicle along 1st Avenue South in Chesley.

Police located the vehicle and, as a result of the interaction, the occupant was arrested for impaired operation.

Shelly FAULHAFER, 47, of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie was charged with Impaired Operation - blood-alcohol concentration (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Court of Justice, Dec. 18.

DRIVER FAILS ROADSIDE DEVICE

(BROCKTON, ON) - Nov. 5, at 8:58 p.m., the South Bruce OPP stopped to check a vehicle along Hannah Street, in the Municipality of Brockton.

The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the driver. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the South Bruce OPP detachment for further testing.

John ALLEN, 26, of New Lowell was charged with Impaired Operation - blood-alcohol concentration (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Court of Justice, Dec. 18.
