​Sale of Taylor Swift concert tickets to benefit Kincardine Hospital capital campaign

A local family is selling four tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Toronto and donating the proceeds to the Kincardine Hospital capital campaign.

The family’s 14-year-old daughter, Grace, is a verified Swift fan and was able to obtain tickets to the sold-out event months ago for her, her parents and her 10-year-old sister, Eleanor.

In July, Eleanor got sick and was running a high fever. She was taken to the Kincardine Hospital where she was treated right away by Dr. Owen Montpellier.

Eleanor has sensory issues and anxiety and has decided she can’t handle the Swift concert, so she wanted to sell her ticket and give the money to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, for the hospital redevelopment capital campaign.

Grace has also decided to sell her ticket because she doesn’t want to attend without her sister.

The deadline for selling the tickets is Nov. 19 which is 72 hours before the concert.

The tickets are for four seats together on the 500 level at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Friday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. The estimated value is $7,000 per ticket.
