​Coldest Night of the Year Walk returns to Kincardine, Feb. 22

The United Way of Bruce Grey has announced the return of the Coldest Night of the Year Walk, happening Feb. 22 in Kincardine, as well as Grey Highlands, Meaford, and Saugeen Shores.
This national event, hosted in more than 170 cities across Canada, raises vital funds to assist individuals and families experiencing hunger, homelessness, and other hardships.

"This event is about more than just raising essential funds — it’s about shining a light on the challenges faced by our community’s most vulnerable members,” said Kristy Andre, fund-raising champion with the United Way of Bruce Grey. “Together, we are taking meaningful steps to support those living in poverty and create a stronger, more compassionate community.”

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Community members are invited to join a two-kilometre or five-kilometre walk to help make a difference in their communities. You can participate as a walker, team leader, volunteer, or sponsor.

TOQUE BONUS

Fund-raisers who collect $75 (youth, under age 17) or $150 (adults) will receive the iconic Coldest Night toque as a thank-you gift.
