Municipality of Kincardine announces Christmas holiday closures

The Municipality of Kincardine council and staff wish everyone a safe and joyful holiday season spent with family and friends.

A reminder that during the Christmas holidays, there are closures and changes in hours at municipal facilities:

Closing from Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Noon, to Jan, 2 (inclusive). Regular hours of operation resume Thursday, Jan. 2025:
 

• Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine
• Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services Administration Office at 127 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine
• Underwood Satellite Office and Underwood Community Centre at 1240 Concession 6, Underwood
• Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street, Kincardine. Open by appointment in the new year. Call 519-396-2731 or send an E-mail message to tourism@kincardine.ca; 2025 hours of operation to be announced

The Davidson Centre at 601 Durham Street, Kincardine

• Building and administration office closing Dec. 24, at Noon; closed Dec, 25 and 26; closing Dec 31 at 4 p.m. and closed Jan. 1, 2025

The Tiverton and District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street, Tiverton

• Closing Dec. 25, at Noon; closed Dec. 25 and 26; closing Dec 31 at 4 p.m. and closed Jan. 1, 2025

Kincardine Waste Management Centre at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow

• Closed Dec, 25 and 26; and Jan. 1, 2025

Curbside pick-up of garbage and recycling:

There will be no garbage or recycling collection services Wednesday, Dec. 25, or Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. Garbage collection that would normally be picked up on Wednesday will be collected the following day, Thursday, Dec, 26, and Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Recycling collection for the former Kincardine Township will be Thursday, Dec. 26.

All other scheduled collection days will continue as scheduled.
