Congratulations to the Lucknow Co-op on celebrating its 80th Anniversary last weekend with a good gathering of the community! Thank you to the directors and staff for recognizing the history, friendships and partnerships that the Lucknow Co-op has established and contributed to, in our area! We look forward to many more years of working with staff and directors for continued service!

Appreciation to the Ripley Agricultural Society which has pledged $3,000 each year for the next five years to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation capital campaign redevelopment project at the Kincardine Hospital! The first of the donations was presented last week.

Get your entries in for the agricultural society’s annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition! Submit a photo of yourself with your gingerbread house, to ripleyfair@hurontel.on.ca by Dec. 23. Gingerbread Houses may be entered in one of the categories: age four to six; age 7-9; age 10-17; or adult, age 18 and over. Entries will be judged on overall appearance, originality, and creativity! Prizes: Fincher's, McDonald’s, Subway, and Pollock Electric.
