​Scott Ramage of Kincardine remembered for his kind heart, sharp wit and deep love for his family

Scott Macgregor Ramage of Kincardine, died peacefully, at his home on Christmas Day. He was 71.

Born April 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Francis “Fran” (née Macgregor) and James “Jim” Ramage.

Scott was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Beverley (née Begg); two children, Maggie Hicks (Brandon) and James (Cassandra); and his granddaughters, Hazel and Georgia, who lovingly called him “Pops.” He was immensely proud of his children and adored his granddaughters who brought him his greatest joy.

Scott is also survived by his brothers, Robin (Linda), Jason (Bette), and Morgan (Cindy); sister-in-law, Deb Kropf; brother-in-law, Stuart Begg (Norma); and many cherished nephews and nieces.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, sharp wit, and deep love for his family.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held later in the spring.
