SVCA administration office to re-open, Monday, Jan. 13
Following the significant damage caused by a lightning strike Oct. 6, the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA)’s administration office is set to re-open Monday, Jan. 13.
The office has undergone repairs, including the replacement of windows, restoration of some electrical systems, and professional inspections. These efforts have ensured the building is safe, functional, and ready to resume operations.
“We extend our thanks to members of the public for their patience and understanding during this unexpected closure,” said Erik Downing, general manager and secretary-treasurer of the SVCA. “We are excited to welcome both staff and the public back to the administration office, Monday, and look forward to continuing to serve our community in person.”
The office, located at 1078 Bruce County Road 12, Formosa, is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The SVCA team remains committed to its mission of conservation and service to Saugeen watershed communities. Updates and additional information will continue to be shared at
