​South Bruce OPP report increased police presence north of Chepstow
(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - Jan. 11, just after 2 p.m., the South Bruce OPP, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, West Region OPP Canine Unit, and OPP Aviation Unit, were called to an incident in the Municipality of Brockton.

Officers arrived at the scene on Schmidt Lake Road in Greenock Township, north of Chepstow, and interacted with an individual.

That individual has now been safely taken into custody.

Members of the public will see an increased police presence in that area; however, there is no threat to public safety.

The investigation is continuing, and more details will be released at the appropriate time.
