Township to host community meeting about proposed dog park in Ripley
The Huron-Kinloss community services department is moving forward with plans for a new dog park in Ripley, located between the Apple Rail Trail entrance and the soccer fields.
This community-driven project is an opportunity to get involved early in the process, share your ideas, and help shape a space for dogs and their owners to enjoy.
A community meeting will be held
Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 6:30 p.m., at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.
At the meeting, the department will share a proposed design, tentative layouts, and cost estimates, seeking input from Ripley residents on any ways to improve the design and layout, as well as ideas for enhancing the park.
Volunteers are also needed! If you’re interested in helping with brush-clearing, organizing a spring clean-up day, or fund-raising for additional park features, the department would like to hear from you. Getting involved is a great way to contribute and ensure the park’s success and longevity.
