​Weight and load restrictions now in effect on Bruce County roads

Effective Feb. 26, the Bruce County transportation and environmental services department has placed weight and load restrictions of five tonne per axle on several county roads until further notice.

Bruce County staff has implemented these restrictions to protect the integrity of the county road infrastructure. During spring thaw, roads are susceptible to damage and the reduction of axle-weights helps preserve the life span of these roads.
