The 29th annual Kincardine Regional Silver Stick tournament begins Sunday, Dec. 27, and runs through to Wednesday, Dec. 30, drawing 50 teams for some hockey action at the Davidson Centre, Ripley-Huron Community Centre, and the Tiverton Sports Centre.
The Kincardine Bantams won the championship last year and went on to the International Silver Stick, while the Peewees also made it to the championship round but lost to Penetang.
This year, besides the Kincardine Novice, Peewee and Bantam teams, the tournament welcomes the Ripley Novices, Ripley Peewees and a second Kincardine Peewee team. The Novices will play in Ripley, while the Peewees play in Tiverton and the Bantams play in Kincardine, with all tournament final games played at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, Wednesday.

The Novice champions will advance to play at the International Silver Stick in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Jan. 22-24, 2016.
The Peewee champions will advance to play at the Forest, Ontario, International Silver Stick Jan. 8-10, 2016.
The Bantam champions will advance to play at the Forest, Ontario, International Silver Stick Jan. 22-24, 2016.
