Kincardine Home Expo set for next weekend, April 26-27
The Kincardine Home Expo is set for next weekend, April 26-27, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
Hosted by the Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., each day.
Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 10 a.m. on the Saturday.
There will be a wide variety of exhibitors on hand, offering products meant to enhance home, lifestyle, finance and much more, along with a number of community organizations.
Besides exhibitors, the expo will feature demonstrations and entertainment throughout the weekend, including a free swim, Saturday at 2 p.m.
Returning this year, the Davidson Centre gymnasium will be transformed into the Lakeside Living Marketplace, Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not-for-profit groups, home-based businesses and small businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their services and products.
The event will also introduce a new Speaker Series, Saturday, featuring presentations by Bruce County about Additional Residential Units, Small Meadows Community - a new tiny home development in the works for Kincardine, the Kincardine Environmental Action Network, and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services.
Events such as these can only happen with the collaboration of local businesses, and the chamber thanks the local business community for its continued support.
NPX is sponsoring a vendor gathering, Bruce Telecom is the Internet sponsor, Fourth Rock Entertainment/Boiler Beach Band is sponsoring the main stage, and Miller Insurance is sponsoring the free swim. Thanks also to the chamber community partners: Bruce Power, EPCOR, Reliance Home Comfort, and The Bruce.
There is no admission charge for the event, but donations of non-perishable food items for the Kincardine Food Bank, would be greatly appreciated.
