Kincardine Legion Corner
Catch the Ace is back! Tickets are now on sale for the Week 1 draw which will be held Wednesday, May 7. You can get tickets at our Legion Bar, and at our wonderful in-person locations, which include: Kwik Way in Tiverton, Sleepers Bed Gallery, Jean's Family Restaurant, and InStyle Hair Studio. You can also buy tickets on-line, if you are in Ontario, at
kincardineace.com. Just remember: on-line ticket sales close at midnight on Tuesday nights.
If you are new to
Catch the Ace, tickets are $5 each. And yes, we’ll still be having some fun each week on our Facebook pages with our intrepid Ace host, Russ — so stay tuned! Russ will, of course, continue to go LIVE for each week's draw, Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
At the
Saturday Meat Draw, Scott Rossi was the double-dipper — and if you're thinking, "Hey, wasn’t he the double-dipper last week?" — you’re correct! Congratulations, again Scott, you are on a roll! The 50/50 draw winner was Jamie White who took home a cash prize of $136. Congratulations to all the winners! Don’t forget, the next Mega Meat Draw will be May 3, with Hwy 19 providing the entertainment.
This past week, Branch 183 donated $1,000 to the
Ecole Kincardine District Senior School (KDSS) Model United Nations (UN) Team! For more information about this event, visit
