​Good crowd for Ripley Horticultural Society plant sale, despite chilly, wet weather

The Ripley and District Horticultural Society welcomed a good crowd to its annual plant sale, Saturday morning, at Lewis Park in Ripley, despite the chilly, wet weather.

Members of the horticultural society assisted customers in selecting plants for their gardens.

The “For Our Youth” junior horticultural club also had plants available for sale.

And this year saw the return of muffins and coffee, by donation, which was just what people needed to fend off the chilly morning.
