​KDSS art students bring home awards from Owen Sound Art Show

Kincardine District Senior School (KDSS) art students participated in the Owen Sound Student Art Show held at the Co-op Legacy Gallery, for the month of May.

There were 115 pieces of art submitted by high school students from across the Bluewater District School Board, and KDSS brought home four awards.

Siennah Pye won first place overall, as well as the People's Choice Award; Jacob Curran won second place overall; and Kasey Edwards received an honourable mention.

Everyone is welcome to view the winning pieces, along with many more works of art, and celebrate these talented art students, at the KDSS Knight of the Arts evening, Wednesday, June 11, at the school.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with drama and music performances beginning in the gym at 7 p.m. Art will be displayed in the KDSS library, along with refreshments. Entry is by donation.
