I feel that the link I supply here here contains valuable advice regarding rip currents and survival.
In all of last year’s discussions regarding the situation at Station Beach, Kincardine, I saw nothing discussed similar to the practical advice offered on Facebook by former “surf lifesaver” Kenny Jewell of Australia (see link below):

Jewell’s content eerily describes Station Beach and other stretches of the Lake Huron shoreline. It shows us how to spot and distinguish a rip current. It shows escape strategies and how to use the actual current to advantage.
