What a splendid Father's Day. Hope some were able to partake in the free fishing, and time for families, gatherings and celebrations. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers and step-dads out there. Time for sharing, making new memories and remembering when the now fathers were spending those special times with their own dads. Lots of time for creating new celebrations on what it truly means to be a father.

June is the start of fall fair season, beginning with the Clinton Fall Fair which always has a huge attraction, with livestock, midway and of course, those famous bang-up derbies. What a blast!

For June birthdays, we celebrate with Barb Strang, Elaine Pollock, Stosh Cubberley and a belated birthday to Gramma Cathy Cubberley. Celebrations were held for Dawson at the cottage, Sunday morning, with the grandparents. Cole Van Dyke had a blast at the tractor pull and the fries were great!

Congratulations to the Pine River Watershed Initiative Network (PRWIN) which celebrated its 25th Anniversary last Wednesday morning.

Also to our very own Back Forty Baker who just celebrated her 10th year in business. Way to go!!

The Kincardine Community Singers concert drew huge crowds for the evening and afternoon performances. It was fun! The Saving Harmony Musical at Kingsbridge was well-attended too.

Jim and Fran Farrell attended the Egremont Public School Musical, "The Lion King Jr.," at Holstein Optimist Centre, Thursday evening. Excellent performance by these young performers!

Sympathy is extended to the families and relatives of Roy Hallam and Gwen Caesar who passed away recently.
