South Bruce OPP officer promoted to staff sergeant, detachment manager

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – The South Bruce OPP is pleased to announce that sergeant Paul Richardson (R) has been promoted to staff sergeant, and effective Dec. 28, 2015, is the new detachment manager.
 

A 15-year member of the OPP, Richardson has spent his whole career in Bruce County. His experience includes general patrol duties, a secondment to the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit, patrolling the waters of Lake Huron as a member of the South Bruce OPP Marine Unit, and two years as a sergeant with the Bruce Peninsula detachment patrolling the north end of the county.
 

“I’m honored to have been selected for promotion to the rank of staff sergeant and it’s a pleasure to continue working at the South Bruce OPP detachment," says Richardson. "I look forward to supporting the dedicated staff of the South Bruce OPP in my new role.”
