Tiverton news

Well there hasn’t been much to report now that the busy holiday season has passed and things are returning to normal.

We hope everyone had a great holiday and ate like there was no tomorrow. These warm temperatures are playing havoc on the wildlife. You have probably seen some very chubby squirrels waddling around still collecting for the winter stash.

Best wishes to Rev. Jeanette Fleischer who retired from Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church shortly after Christmas and moved to Sarnia. Her smiling face will be sadly missed around town as she was always there to support any community function or anyone who needed help. Good luck, Rev. Jen!

Condolences to the families of Luella Kerr, Wesley Giesz, Mary MacKay, Terry Hunter and Renee Lamont-Wylds. Losing a family member is painful enough but is truly sad at this time of year. We hope the rest of the year will bring them joy and happiness.

Birthday wishes go out to Kim Catto, Nancy Malcolm, Linda Peebles and Gerry Beadle.
