South Bruce OPP report damaged bridge; and break-in
BRIDGE DAMAGED AFTER COLLISION
(BROCKTON, ON) - Sept. 12, at 3:14 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a collision involving a box truck on Concession 12 between Bruce County Road 19 and Sideroad 5 Brant.
Police learned that the collision had taken place hours earlier, and the vehicle involved was no longer on scene. The investigating officer attended the collision scene to observe extensive damage to a bridge and alerted the Municipality of Brockton; the bridge is closed for an unknown length of time.
A 48-year-old resident of Hanover has been charged with Fail to remain, HTA 200(1)(a).
OPP INVESTIGATE BREAK-AND-ENTER
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - Sept. 13, the South Bruce OPP received the report of an overnight break-and-enter at a landfill site located along Sideroad 20 Arran Township, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
Sometime between Sept. 12 at 2:30 p.m., and Sept. 13, at 7:15 a.m., unknown suspect(s) went to the landfill site and made entry to two outbuildings and two storage containers on the property, resulting in approximately $1,000 damage to the location.
