KDSS football team suffers loss to Owen Sound at season home-opener in Tiverton
The Kincardine District Senior School (KDSS) Knights football team drew a great crowd to its season home-opener in Tiverton, Friday afternoon.
The team showed great hustle but lost to Owen Sound District Secondary School (OSDSS), 28-6.
The Knights scored one touchdown, by Brody Lyndon on a pass from Cooper Waite. The team also intercepted OSDSS twice, once by Anthony Vaillancourt, and once by Peter Sinclair.
The next game is Thursday, Sept. 25, in Port Elgin, and the next home game is Thursday, Oct. 2, against St. Mary’s, on the field in Tiverton.
