About 130 people enjoyed a tribute to the Scottish Bard, at the annual Robbie Burns Night, sponsored by the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band, Saturday evening, at the Kincardine Legion.

Piper Jennifer Farrell played the Piper's Welcome, followed by a welcome from pipe band vice-president Mike Smith.

Dave Wilson Sr. then piped in the haggis, with Keith Bowker as haggis bearer, and Jim Peddie gave a stirring rendition of the Address to the Haggis.

Lynda MacKenzie took the stage as MC and welcomed everyone, and Cathy Milne gave the Selkirk Grace.

The crowd enjoyed a roast beef dinner, complete with haggis. John Adams then gave the Immortal Memory, followed by a Toast to the Lassies by Steve Wolfe, and a Reply from the Lassies by Eileen Wolfe.

The evening's entertainment included: Highland dancer Annie Colquhoun; Nicole Reid, Brenda Manderson and piper Nick Reid; a mini-band of Nathan Smith, Mike Smith and Keith Bowker; students and new members, featuring Caiden O'Brien, Andy Smith, Nathan Smith, Robert Ross and some more senior band members for support; and several numbers by the pipe band.
