John A. Matheson dies at the age of 91

John A. Matheson of Kincardine Township, died at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. He was 91.

Beloved husband of Eileen Matheson (née Peterbaugh) of Kincardine Township.

Dear father of Allan (Sandy) of Kincardine, Murdock of Kincardine Township, Charlie (Darlene) of Edmonton, Alberta, John D. of Kincardine Township, Bill (Laura) of Kincardine Township, and Don (Rhonda) of Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Cherished grandfather of Kelly, Jessica, Lyndsey, Lucy, Louisa and Dylan.

Missed by brother-in-law, Donald (Ruby) Peterbaugh; sisters-in-law, Carol Matheson and Beverley Peterbaugh. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by his brother, Charlie; and brother-in-law, Bill Peterbaugh.

Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Thursday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating.

Spring Interment, Kincardine Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Chalmers Community Church or a charity of choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
