Kincardine firefighters donate to Good Food Box initiative

The Kincardine Fire Department Social Club has donated $500 to the Kincardine Area Good Food Box’s Neighbour-to-Neighbour initiative.

The presentation was made Wednesday at the Kincardine Fire Hall, with Wendy Cox, one of the food box program’s co-ordinators, on hand to accept the cheque from firefighters Ryan Deer, Nigel Ford and Sean Leverenz.

The funds were raised at the firefighters’ annual car wash and beef barbecue.
