​Muriel Lamont of Kincardine dies at the age of 87

Muriel Isabel Lamont (nee Wylds), beloved wife of Lloyd Lamont of Kincardine, died at the Kincardine Hospital, Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, at the age of 87.

Born Aug. 20, 1938, in Kincardine, she was the daughter of the late Isabel (Mitchell) and Wes Wylds.

Missed by her in-laws, Betty-Jean MacDonald of London, George Lamont of Sarnia, Alvin Lamont of Kincardine, Elmer Lamont (Dianne MacMasters) of Kincardine, Evelyn Lamont of London and Darlene Lamont of Tiverton.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her in-laws, Marg, Norman, Harold, Leonard, William, Douglas, Colin, Archie, Jennie, Lily and Kevin Lamont.

A graveside service will be held at the Ripley Cemetery in the spring.
