​Clifton Wayne Taylor of Ripley dies at the age of 87

Clifton Wayne Taylor of Ripley died Feb. 4, 2026, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, at the age of 87.

Survived by his wife, Jean McKnight Taylor of Ripley.

Fondly remembered by his children, Tim (Cathy), Cheryl, Brent (Jennifer), and Sara (Scott), and his wife’s son, Larry.

Missed by his grandchildren, Jennifer (Jamie), Michael (Brittany), Alex, Ethan, Zoe, Benjamin, and Sophia, and his step-grandchildren, Allesha and Brandon.

Also survived by his brother, Kenneth Taylor.

His many stories will be passed on to his great-grandchildren, Chloe, Parker, Tucker, and Tripp; and many fond memories will be shared with his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers, Ronald Taylor and Mervin Taylor.

He has caught the last train to his eternal resting place of glory.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
