Huron Shores Hospice seeks public input as it plans third hospice suite
Since opening its first residential hospice suite in May, 2018, Huron Shores Hospice has proudly supported more than 200 families, including 36 families in 2025 alone.

As it looks to the future, the board and staff want to ensure that the community knows about the care and programs that are offered at no cost.

"As we expand our doors into a third residential hospice suite, we seek out further public engagement and feedback to better know how to best serve families and loved ones within our extended communities," states a press release, issued Friday.

"We heard from many that more outreach is needed to help everyone better understand what residential hospice care is and how it can support individuals and families during challenging times. If you belong to a club, group, or service organization and would like us to visit and share more about what we do, we would love to connect. You can book a presentation on-line at www.huronshoreshospice.ca/presentation-booking."

The public is encouraged to complete the Huron Shores Hospice's short survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/859FZ39. Share your thoughts and feel free to share the survey link with your peers and fellow community members as well.

"Thank you for helping us improve and grow. Together, we can make a difference in our community."
