Brian Taylor of Kincardine dies at the age of 76
Brian Neil Taylor of Kincardine died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Janis (nee Harrison) for more than 52 years.

Loving father of Neil (Nurjahan) and Heather (Chris), and his cherished cat, Sarah.

Missed by his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley, Nancy and Steve; and members of the extended families.

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Calvin and Lucille (nee Cousineau); and brother-in-law, Al.

During his working life, Brian served as a bank manager before later becoming a financial advisor. He was known for his kindness and his willingness to take a chance on people.

Brian also had a life-long love of music. Growing up in Windsor, his appreciation for music began with Motown classics, later expanding to pop, choral music, and relaxing jazz tunes. This passion blossomed into decades of singing with his church choir. After moving to Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine, music activities became one of his favourite ways to spend an afternoon.

To celebrate Brian’s life, a service will be held this spring at the Anglican Church of the Messiah, Kincardine. Details will be announced once arrangements have been finalized.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or to the Anglican Church of the Messiah, Kincardine, would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made on-line at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com.
