South Bruce OPP to hold Youth in Policing Academy in Kincardine
(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) - The South Bruce OPP is holding a six-week Youth in Policing Academy, beginning in April.
This is an interactive opportunity for youth in Grades 10-12 who reside in southern Bruce County to learn more about policing. Topics covered include general patrol duties, major criminal investigations, canine services, emergency response, forensic identification, collision reconstruction, and impaired-driving investigations.
The program will be held at the South Bruce OPP detachment in Kincardine, Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., from April 22 to May 27.

Applications are available at the South Bruce OPP detachment locations: 700 Kincardine Avenue, Kincardine or 25 Bruce County Road 19, Walkerton. They must be dropped off in person at the detachment, and valid photo identification will need to be presented at that time.
