Huron-Kinloss accepting applications to Bruce County joint compliance audit committee
The Township of Huron-Kinloss, along with several other municipalities in Bruce County, is inviting residents to apply to serve on the Bruce County joint compliance audit committee for the 2026 municipal and school board election.
The committee is an independent body established under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. Its role is to review applications requesting audits of municipal and school board campaign finances, helping to promote transparency and accountability throughout the election process.
The joint committee will serve the following municipalities: Huron-Kinloss, Kincardine, Arran-Elderslie, Brockton, Northern Bruce Peninsula, Saugeen Shores, and South Bruce.
Applications are being accepted now until Friday, April 24.
Committee members are appointed for the 2026 election period and should be fair-minded, impartial, and committed to upholding the integrity of the municipal election process.
