Held Friday afternoon at the Kincardine Legion, this is the first of three Early Bird draws which are part of the 50/50 lottery - a collaboration between the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation and the Kincardine Legion in support of programs and services in the community.
The next two Early Bird draws will be held Friday, April 17, for $500; and Friday, April 24, for a brand new barbecue, generously donated by John and Diane Satosek and family and the Kincardine Canadian Tire store. These draws are held at 4 p.m., at the Legion.
Tickets for the April 50/50 draw are on sale until Thursday, April 30 (11:59 p.m. for on-line purchases). The first draw winner will be announced Friday, May 1. *Tickets drawn for the Early Bird draws are still in play for the monthly 50/50 draw.
How it works:
50 per cent of the jackpot goes to the winner, while 50 per cent supports the community partners.
