Kincardine Multicultural Celebration set for May 12 at Davidson Centre
The 21st Kincardine Multicultural Celebration will be held Tuesday, May 12, from 5:30-8 p.m., on the arena surface at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

This vibrant, community event embraces diversity, strengthens inclusion, and fosters meaningful community connection. Admission is free, and everyone is warmly welcome to attend.

The evening will feature a fascinating mix of food, music, art, and cultural displays, offering attendees an opportunity to experience traditions from around the world while connecting with neighbours. More than a celebration, the event creates space for conversation, learning, and shared understanding, highlighting the importance of inclusion and the value of diverse perspectives within the Municipality of Kincardine.

Since its founding by Dr. Chandra Tripathi, the celebration has grown from a small gathering at Huron Heights Public School into a signature community event. Over the past two decades, it has continued to evolve alongside the community, reflecting a shared commitment to respect, belonging, and cultural appreciation.

Organized by the Kincardine Multicultural Celebration committee, the evening is supported by Bruce Power, Swajan Samanvay Santan Centre, the Municipality of Kincardine, and Kincardine District Senior School (KDSS).

"For over two decades, this event has brought people together through the richness of their cultures," says Tripathi. "It is a reminder that when we take the time to learn from one another, we build stronger, more connected communities. I invite everyone to take part, whether by sharing your culture or simply by attending to experience and celebrate it.

"As we celebrate 21 years, we renew our commitment to building a community where every voice is valued and every culture is respected — a true beacon of inclusivity that continues to lead by example."
