It's all about being a friend in this year's Kincardine Community Singers spring concert, "Friendship," slated for June 13-14, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine.
The 70-member choir, under the direction of Patt Lowry and accompanied by Liz Coates and Brenda Manderson, features a wonderful variety of tunes, such as "Together Wherever We Go," "Let Me Be There," Stand By Me," "You've Got a Friend," "Lean On Me," Thank You for Being a Friend," and of course, "Friendship."
The concert includes a number of ensembles, a barbershop septet, soloists, the men of the choir, and a solo by Coates.
Joining the singers, are musicians Steve Deer, Karen Weber, Mike Smith, Brian Tovey, Steve Hasbury, Diane Wall, Michelle Lapointe and Debb Marks.
The concert runs Saturday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, at 3 p.m.
