It was a warm, sunny Friday evening for the first Cruise Night of the summer in downtown Kincardine, and a good crowd turned out for the event.
A variety of antique, vintage and classic cars lined Queen Street, from Durham Market North to the Quinn Plaza, including a 1964 Chevrolet C10 4X4 owned by Brian Hodgins, a 1973 MGB (British sports car) owned by Bruce Gordon of Atwood, a 1991 Mustang LX 5L owned by Randy Duffie of Kincardine, and a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville owned by Gerry and Bonnie Upshall of Egmondville.
And there was the regular Corvette line-up, on the west side Queen Street, north of Lambton Street.
Members of the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation were selling 50/50 tickets, and there were several vendors on hand, as well as the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team which conducted a robot demonstration on Lambton Street.
The next two Cruise Nights are scheduled for July 31 and Sept. 4, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., in downtown Kincardine.
