Despite the excessive heat and humidity, hundreds of people crowded Victoria Park, Kincardine, to hear the Canadian rock band, 54·40, Saturday night, at the Kincardine Scottish Festival.

And the band delivered for its fans, belting out the hard rock tunes, loud and proud.

Lead singer and guitarist Neil Osborne was incredible, offering a strong stage presence as he raised his arms into the air and drew wild applause.

Joining him on stage, were Dave Genn on lead guitar, Brad Merrit on bass, Matt Johnson on drums, and David Osborne on organ, saxophone and harmonica.

Earlier in the day, there was a host of things to see and do in Victoria Park, as well as the heavy events in Robinson Park.

Clan Avenue welcomed people to check out their ancestry, while the vendors market offered everything from home decor to jewellery, and the food vendors provided a variety of tasty delights.
