CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - July 16, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting routine patrols along the Huron-Kinloss Townline when they observed a vehicle driving in excess of the posted speed limit.
During a traffic stop, officers noted signs of impairment and placed the driver under arrest.
Joseph McILHARGEY, 58, of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus
Drive motor vehicle - Perform stunt - excessive speed
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, Sept. 2.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for 14 days, while the charged party's driver's licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
DRIVER CHARGED AFTER VEHICLE COLLIDES WITH GUARD RAIL
(KINCARDINE, ON) - A Brampton resident faces multiple impaired operation charges, following an incident in which a vehicle collided with a highway guard rail.
July 12, at 4:44 p.m., South Bruce OPP officers responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle collision on Highway 21 in Kincardine Township. While officers were investigating the collision, signs of impairment were observed, and the driver was placed under arrest.
Kurt KRETSCHMAR, 62, of Brampton has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired - blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus
Dangerous operation
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, Sept. 2.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven-days, and the accused's driver's licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
