Driver of horse and buggy seriously hurt in two-vehicle collision south of Lucknow

The driver of a horse-drawn Amish buggy was air-lifted to London with serious injuries, following a collision with a pick-up truck, early Wednesday morning, July 22, south of Lucknow.

The Huron County OPP said the driver of the truck was not injured. The horse died at the scene.

Lucknow Line was closed, between Zion Road and Belfast Road, for a period of time and then re-opened.
