RE: "DGR decision delayed again; Kincardine continues to support project"
I don't remember there ever being a referendum in Kincardine, or any of the neighbouring municipalities, regarding the DGR. Perhaps council's support is not a true reflection of citizens' views.
As for the decision being science-based, remember that much of what we have today because of science, was once thought impossible - and much of what scientists at one time thought was true, has been disproved.
The failure of every repository for nuclear waste attempted so far, is a grim reminder that we know little of what nature's forces can do.

This project has been studied to death. Are members of the anti-nuclear faction holding a gun to the government’s head?
They seem to be grasping at straws to delay the proposed DGR in the faint hope that it will just disappear. Wrong!
It needs to be put on the fast track to start. If they don’t want to live near the DGR, MOVE.! Leave the area.
