Huron County OPP reminds residents of E-scooter regulations

(HURON COUNTY, ON) - The Huron County OPP is reminding residents to understand local regulations before operating electric scooters (E-scooters) and similar motorized devices.

Huron County has not adopted the E-scooter pilot program and currently restricts the operation of all motorized scooters on public roads and sidewalks.

Before purchasing or operating an E-scooter, county residents should be aware that these devices may be operated only on private property and are not permitted on public roads, sidewalks, trails, or highways.

Remember - traffic safety is everyone's responsibility!
