Kincardine Rotary Club hosts annual seniors' picnic at Kincardine Pavilion

More than 80 seniors and staff from Trillium Court Seniors’ Community in Kincardine, and Rosewood RVilla Retirement Living in Ripley, gathered at the Kincardine Pavilion, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 8, for the annual seniors’ picnic, hosted by the Rotary Club of Kincardine.

The crowd enjoyed delicious food, catered by Karen McLelland-Seal, and great music, provided by Lorne Seal and Friends.

The event was ongoing for almost 20 years, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, it was held at Rotary Park, across from the Kincardine Harbour, but was moved to the pavilion in 2009.

Appreciation to the Rotary Club, the picnic organizers, caterer, entertainment, and the many volunteers, for a terrific afternoon.
