HAWK Theatre in Lucknow hosting popular performance workshops

Back by popular demand - discover the star you know you are!

Lucknow's HAWK Theatre Company is bringing back its popular performance workshop series, with a pair of classes sure to appeal to potential jokesters of all ages!

These workshops are meant to be fun, and no experience is required.

Two workshops for youth (ages eight to 17):

• Meet Me at the Improv - Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to Noon

• Make 'em Laugh - Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1-3 p.m.

Two workshops for adults:

• Meet Me at the Improv - Monday, Oct. 19, from 7-9 p.m.

• Make 'em Laugh - Sunday, Oct. 25, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The Improv sessions are an introduction to improvisation, with actor Brian Cox. Hone your funny bone and quicken your wits with tried-and-true theatrical games and exercises. Cost is $5 each for youth and $10 each for adults.

The Make 'em Laugh sessions are a beginner's guide to being funny. Let professional humour columnist and aspiring comedy coach Scott Stephenson show you the ropes of performative comedy. Cost is $5 each for youth and $10 each for adults.
