By: Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson's office  October 23, 2026  93

Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, minister of rural affairs, and Raymond Cho, minister of seniors and accessibility, invite Ontario residents to submit nominations for the 2026 Ontario Senior Achievement Awards.

Each year, the program recognizes extraordinary seniors who, after the age of 65, have made significant contributions to their community or province.

The deadline to nominate someone has been extended to Dec. 1. You can submit a nomination on-line by registering through the Ontario Honours and Awards Portal. Additionally, you can nominate more than one senior.

For more information about the program, visit the Ontario Senior Achievement Award web page.

You may also contact Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat at OntarioHonoursAndAwards@ontario.ca, if you have questions about the Ontario Senior Achievement Award and how to submit a nomination on-line.
